"1.4" stands as a private medical clinic characterized by an efficient spatial arrangement encompassing three exam rooms, a laboratory, a teaching area, a staff room, and a waiting and reception area. The clinic seamlessly integrates natural light, offering a harmonious transition between diverse materials, thereby crafting the illusion of a singular horizon situated precisely at 1.4 meters above the floor. This intentional design stratagem delineates distinct spatial realms – one above and the other below – fostering a serene and secluded milieu for seated patients and medical practitioners, while concurrently fostering an ethos of connectivity and openness for those in a standing posture.

A central passage serves as the unifying element, traversing through all areas. This passageway is demarcated by translucent walls and a ceiling composed of polycarbonate sheets. Notably, the polycarbonate walls are distinctive, housing recycled tumbled glass within the honeycomb structure of each panel up to the prescribed height of 1.4 meters. As light refracts through these glass particles, an exquisite shimmering effect ensues, imparting a dynamic vitality to the industrial material. This nuanced interplay of light and materiality not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also contributes to the creation of an engaging and contemplative ambiance.

In harmony with this design, the clinic features wooden sliding doors delicately stained in white and clear tones, complemented by interior walls adorned in varying gloss finishes of white. The deliberate use of subtle contrasts and playful reflections introduces a sense of softness to the material palette, ensuring a pristine and refined aesthetic for the clinic.

"1.4" distinguishes itself through its meticulous attention to tonalities and intricate detailing. Through a strategic spatial configuration and the incorporation of layered elements, the clinic achieves a meditative ambiance that evokes the serene vastness of gazing upon an endless ocean horizon.
